Our LED modules and drivers are used in lighting products across a variety of industries, including indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, and transportation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks.
Record financial transactions, maintain accounting records, and prepare month-end reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial statements by compiling information from financial records.
Monitor hours worked by employees, and review employee contracts and timesheets to ensure that the payroll system is accurate. Track eligibility of benefits as per state and federal guidelines.
Process regular and supplemental monthly payroll for all employee groups; perform complex payroll calculations; verify information from relevant forms; audits, correct and balance payroll and a variety of reports.
Perform or review specialized calculations related to posting and accounting functions.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
5 years of experience as an accountant preferably in a manufacturing company.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Sage 50 Accounting, or similar ERP tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of principles, methods, and practices related to payroll activities.
Proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills which include the ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
