About the position:

Adultcare Assistance Homecare is currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator for the Sun City Office. As a key role for the agency, the Staffing Coordinator works closely with families and staff to provide a sense of safety, value, and peace of mind. This position involves becoming familiar with clients and caregivers while understanding and promoting the agency's unique qualities. The purpose of the role is to work alongside Adultcare Assistance Geriatric Care Specialists to ensure the best caregiver and client match and proper care is provided while ensuring caregivers are valued as members of the team!

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• 10 hours a day (Sunday through Wednesday)
• On-call rotation (Approximately every 6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling appropriate caregivers matched to the client’s needs according to the plan of care designed by the Geriatric Care Specialist.
• Manage client and caregiver schedules within the agency scheduling software system
• Demonstrate extraordinary communication skills with an emphasis on the importance of collaboration and teamwork
• Assist new-hire orientations and staff training
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff
• Demonstrate an understanding and adoption of the company’s core values
• Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation

About You:

• Preferred Associates degree or higher; High School Diploma required
• 1-3 years of experience in home care, elder services, or scheduling
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a love for puzzles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent recall and memory
• Ability to pass background check including drug screening
