Adult Partial Care is Hiring a Mental Health Worker Near Orange, NJ

Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health conditions - Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals - Assist in crisis management situations and ensure the safety of patients - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Monitor and document patient progress, behaviors, and responses to treatment - Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and social skills development - Provide counseling and support to individuals struggling with addiction or substance abuse issues - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred - Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or developmental disabilities is highly desirable - Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies - Familiarity with special education principles and practices - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines - Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.92 per hour
