Activity Leader at Adult Day Care Center in the Bronx

An adult day care center located in the Bronx is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Activity Leader to join our team. As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of activity staff in engaging our clients in stimulating physical and emotional activities. Your role will involve keeping the clients engaged during the program.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of activity staff to ensure the successful implementation of stimulating activities for our clients.
• Engage clients in both physically and emotionally stimulating activities to enhance their overall well-being.
• Maintain client engagement throughout the program duration.
• Develop and maintain the activity calendar monthly, including daily activities, weekly trips, and weekly entertainment.
• Schedule and organize weekly trips and entertainment options for our clients.
• Coordinate with vendors and external providers to arrange for weekly entertainment.
• Order all necessary activity supplies monthly to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an adult day care center or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and maintain an engaging and stimulating environment for our clients.
• Organizational skills to manage the activity calendar and coordinate weekly trips and entertainment.
• Attention to detail in ordering activity supplies.
• Being bilingual fluent (Spanish, English)
