Adult & Child Health is an integrated healthcare provider in Central Indiana. We are a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center and a Federally Qualified Health Center look alike; we strive to provide the best in healthcare services. Providing high-quality, affordable care including primary care, behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment, mobile crisis response, community-based services, homeless outreach, school-based treatment, and more.

About this role:  This is the final stage of A&C’s building of services in the crisis continuum. This position will allow clients to not only have a person to call and a person to respond, but now a place to go. You will assess client's coming in for crisis intervention and ensure appropriate next level of care.

The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the surrounding counties. Hours for this role are Thurs - Mon 2pm - 10pm 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Work alongside a crisis team
• Assisting medical provider with procedures
• Ability to manage crisis situations with patience and empathy
• Have a working knowledge of standard lab and medical procedures such as POCT, lab draws, vitals, perform EKGs, perform wound care, etc.

Requirements

• CMA certified
• One year experience in an ER setting
