Adoptions Together is Hiring a Training Program Coordinator – One-Year Contract (Incentive Bonus Offered!) Near Beltsville, MD

Position Overview

The Training Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Transforming Prince George's County Through Trauma-Informed Care Initiative. This position provides administrative support to the Training Program Manager and Training Specialists to ensure that trainings are scheduled, delivered, and evaluated in accordance with contract deliverables.

The Training Program Coordinator reports to the Training Program Manager. This position is a hybrid role, with local travel required as needed.

This is a 1-year contract funded position for the Transforming Prince George's County Through Trauma-Informed Care Initiative. The tentative start date for the project will be September 5, 2023.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Assist with marketing and outreach of the initiative and create promotional training materials.
  2. Ensure that all trainings materials are developed in accordance with the agency style guide (PowerPoints Word Documents, PDFs, Advertisements, etc.).
  3. Schedule training dates with external partners and create/distribute calendar invites and training links.
  4. Assist training participants with registration.
  5. Develop and maintain system to track cohort registrations and evaluations.
  6. Send out reminders to training participants and trainers for all upcoming trainings.
  7. Attend trainings and conferences as needed to assist with the logistics. For virtual trainings, monitor waiting room and chat and provide technical assistance as needed for trainers and training participants.
  8. Send training evaluations and create and distribute certificates and CEUs following each training.
  9. Provide logistical and administrative support for trauma-informed care conference. Help to identify and book conference venue, engage in outreach to potential speakers, and assist with conference registration.
  10. Provide data to inform program reporting requirements and assist with writing of program reports.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a social service-related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in providing administrative support to large-scale initiatives and/or programs.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and/or child welfare.

Preferred Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to adhere to contract deliverables and reporting standards with public partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate training venues, trainers, registrations, evaluations, and continuing education certificates.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders and agency colleagues.
  • Ability to think and work independently, prioritize and problem solve.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interface with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to research, analyze and synthesize information to be used for curriculum development and enhancement.
  • Ability to track and report on program outputs and outcomes.

The salary for this position is $45,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience with full benefits including:
