Adopted Dog Brewing is the only brewery located within the City of Lafayette and offers an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for both our customers and team members. We brew all of our 18-beers in-house, offer limited spirits & wine, and have a full kitchen serving high-quality American pub food.

Seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a part-time assistant brewer/cellarman position. Knowledge of the brewing process is preferred but not required. Adopted Dog Brewing operates both a 1bbl and 7bbl brewing systems. We're looking for someone to assist with the daily processes of creating craft beer, which includes but is not limited to milling, mashing, lautering, wort boiling, fermenting, transferring, kegging, canning, parts maintenance & repair, and most importantly cleaning & sanitizing of the brewing related vessels.

Requirements:

· Flexibility with scheduling.

· Attention to detail with a focus on quality.

· Ability to lift 55lb bags and maneuver 160lb kegs.

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

· Can work in hot, cold, and wet environments.

· Capable of measuring out liquids and solids.

· Ability to safely work with chemicals, vessels under pressure, and high temperature liquids.

· Responsible for general cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of brewery.
