ADMA BIOCENTERS GEORGIA INC is Hiring a Lead Training Coordinator Near Myrtle, SC

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the competency and continued development of ADMA BioCenter staff including leadership. This position will assist in the development, implementation, administration, and the continuous improvement of the training program at ADMA Biologics. Provide information and feedback to leadership on the analysis of center training needs, as well as support the development of preceptors. Additionally, this role will use the Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) as a training resource to assign and track the progress of training completion.


Essential Functions (ES) and Responsibilities

  • Key Duties (ES):
    • Evaluates training progress and suggests possible solutions and deficiencies to leadership.
    • Utilize adult learning principles to design, create and develop solutions to meet learning objectives and accommodate a variety of learning styles.
    • Executes and provides support for all ADMA training initiatives.
    • Ensures center personnel complete the required training for their job function and demonstrates competency upon completion.
    • Provides training schedules/plans for new hires and performs periodic assessments of new hires during the training phase to ensure they are progressing as expected.
    • Conducts New Hire Orientation and onboarding activities.
    • Participate in the development of training metrics/key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provides feedback to assist in selection of center preceptors.
    • Supports the training, learning, and development of preceptors and other Training Coordinators.
    • Provides feedback to leadership, as needed, on employee performance as it pertains to job related activities and training.
    • Ensures an active cross training program is established and maintained.
    • Maintains working knowledge of eQMS and ensures training is assigned to staff as needed.
    • Collaborates with leadership to develop training related to CAPAs, as needed.
    • Assists with updates to training materials when revisions are required.
    • Participates in the continuous evaluation and improvement of the training program; including but not limited to, training materials, position related training requirements and learning resources.
    • Maintains competency in all center functions. Maintains employee training binders and eQMS training profiles.
    • Assist with audits related to training.
    • Coordinate and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

  • Supervisory Duties:
    This position has no direct reports.

  • Core Competencies/Behaviors:
    • Excellent writing, oral, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task with minimal to no errors.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
    • Ability to methodically plan, prepare, and coordinate cross-functionally with various resources, departments, personnel, and organizations to accomplish tasks and provide feedback.
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required to drive results and deliver relevant information to the business.
    • Ability to work with media to conduct video and other presentations.
    • Ability to prepare, deliver presentations, and facilitate trainings via various platforms for varying class sizes, learning styles, and educational levels; including but not limited to, fully in-person, virtual and hybrid.
    • In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, processes, techniques, and delivery.
    • Proven ability to deliver and oversee effective training for employees at all levels within the center.
    • Will have contact with customers; 3rd party vendors; regulatory inspectors including FDA, State, PPTA, and European authorities; and with all levels of employees at the Plasma Center and Boca Raton.

  • Compliance Requirements (ES):
    Able to evaluate and interpret regulations and recognize the need for appropriate changes relative to training and procedures. Proven ability to deliver and oversee effective training according to Standard Operation Procedure (SOPs) and guidelines for employees at all levels within the center.
  • Physical Requirements (ES):
    • Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs. in weight.
    • Work period may exceed eight (8) hours per day.
    • Extended computer screen viewing at times.
    • Potential exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.
    • Responsible for and oversees training programs in multiple locations.
    • Exposed to sudden temperature changes when working in or around freezers; to various chemicals; and to human source products at the Centers.
    • May work in temperatures of colder than -30°C for short periods of time.
  • Travel Requirements:
    • Travels to other centers as needed up to 50% of time.
    • Ability to travel by car and/ or air as needed with potential short notice.
  • Physical Location of Role: This role travels to different center locations to oversee and meet the development and training needs of the center.


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma required.

  • Experience Requirements:
    A minimum of two (2) years of working in a plasma center, which must include working as a preceptor. Must be able to read, understand, and implement training programs based on operating procedures and manuals.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Preferred Education Requirements: Minimum of an associate degree in education or training and development preferred. Education may be substituted for experience as described above.
  • Preferred Experience: Training and development experience with a focus on adult learners preferred.
