Laboratory Technician (Day Shift)

• Pay Rate $23/hour 
• Shift: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday
• Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for Full time with ADM
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required

Raise has partnered with a local agricultural company (ADM), and they are seeking to hire a Laboratory Technician in Fort Collins, CO.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Batch, make minor base modifications, screen ingredients, and adjust formulations as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of all tests, and modifications made during the prototype development phase to ensure the scale-up process is consistent with the successful prototype.
• Ensure proper function of and perform routine/minor maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Effectively communicate results through written technical documentation.
• Prepare and ship samples to external laboratories and clients when needed
• Communicate with Project Scientists and Sales through status updates, emails, and project notes.
• Proactively engage in cross-training and the acquisition of new skills.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably a diploma in Animal Sciences, Food Sciences, or Zoology, or alternatively, an AS, BA, BS, or High School Diploma, or
• Previous experience as a laboratory technician
