JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager directs single-site manufacturing operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors. The position ensures profit contribution and increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials, and equipment.

- Accomplish company objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course, corrections
- Oversee and provide leadership to fabrication, assembly, supply chain, production control, logistics management, manufacturing & product engineering functions, IT, environmental, health & safety, and facility management
- Manage policy deployment in the areas of manufacturing techniques, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and facility performance measures
- Develop strategic plans by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives
- Implement and execute Lean principles
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Company standards
- Identify, communicate, and drive implantation of capital investments and improvement projects
- Manage, analyze and report out product recurring cost performance to program budgets and targets
- Develop and report factory KPIs in leading and lagging format
- Conducting continuous performance implementation in all aspects of the manufacturing business
- Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development; problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
- Partner with the Quality team ensuring compliance with AS9100
- Determine operations head count needs; balances work cell capacity/loading across the facility
- Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities; responsible for adhering to budgetary guidelines
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job exceptions; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, disciplining employees developing coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
- Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to all state and federal regulations, Company policies and procedures
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Companys information and products
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
- Masters in Business Administration is preferred.
Experience:
- 5 - 15 years of direct experience.
- Implementation of Lean principles in an industrial, discrete production environment
- Site or Plant Manager having management responsibility over fabrication, assembly, supply chain, production control, logistics management, manufacturing & product engineering functions, IT, environmental, health & safety, and facility management
- Working experience with Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance in AS9100 environment
- Responsibility for developing and reporting factory KPIs in leading and lagging format
- Responsibility for product recurring cost performance to program budgets and targets
- Conducting continuous performance implementation in all aspects of the manufacturing business
Skills:
- Problem solving/analysis, leadership, teamwork orientation, project/budgetary management, communication proficiency, performance management, technical capacity.
- 5 years of Lean and Six-Sigma training & implementation in factory environment

Salary Range Transparency: $190,000 - $220,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
