General Purpose:

The VP, Clinical Operations has accountability for leading all clinical operations for Resolve services and Optimize operations to ensure the highest level of value is delivered to AdhereHealth’s consumers and clients. This includes responsibility for a nationwide team of multi-disciplinary clinicians that achieve medication adherence for consumers and closing gaps in care for patients that is demonstrated by improved quality outcomes (e.g., Star Ratings, Commercial QRS, and Medicaid P4P). The leader will provide expert leadership and command executive presence for the organization internally and externally to clients. The leader will work and collaborate closely with the executive team, IT, analytics, clinical quality team, and client success organizations to ensure measured success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversight of Optimize and Resolve programs to meet business goals, ensuring quality, efficiencies, operational execution, and compliance

• Provides strategic direction for Resolve and Optimize to ensure program growth and success, in collaboration with internal key stakeholders

• Monitor performance, establish trends and identify issues through internal and external reports with established KPI’s and metrics

• Develop and implement action plans to drive improvements within both departments and leadership team with tangible goals

• Oversight for all administrative roles to ensure they meet departmental and business needs

• Responsible for oversight, management, mentoring, coaching, leadership and development of internal teams

• Monitor the daily call activity of the operation to ensure execution and pivot as needed to meet business needs

• Direct oversight of leadership teams that are responsible for training, quality, collegiate partnerships, Adherence Care Navigators, fulfillment, MTM, Contact center, and compliance

• Cost containment initiative identification and mitigation

• Provide subject matter expertise across the organization to drive performance

• Support design subject matter expertise, training, and implementations of new initiatives

• Maintain subject matter expertise for all quality measurement systems (e.g., MA Stars, Medicaid P4P/P4Q, ACA QRS) and act as liaison for regulatory compliance

• Other duties as assigned

Leadership Duties (If Applicable)

• Work collaboratively with internal key stakeholders for alignment on business goals and execution of day-to-day operations and new initiatives

• Performance management to optimize leadership and teams to meet business goals

 Identify processes, reporting or structure changes that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program delivery with KPIs and metrics.

• Establish positive partnerships across AdhereHealth, clients and stakeholders

• Demonstrate and provide leadership to others through behaviors, example, sharing of knowledge/skill and alignment

• Exhibit and build strong positive culture for driving the mission of achieving better medication adherence within and across all team

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare or a related field required

• Master’s degree preferred or relatable experience

• At least 8-10 years of clinical experience in a health care organization

• Minimum 10 years of operational management experience within a call center; experience within a healthcare operation preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to learn new software as needed

Minimum Physical Requirement:

The VP, Clinical Operations will perform his or her work in a general office environment using standard office equipment. The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

• Bend, twist, or stoop on a repetitive and continuous basis

• Stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time

• Operate various business instruments, including computers, printers/scanners/fax machines, requiring manual dexterity

• Sit and concentrate for long periods of time to compute, examine, and interpret data

• Read paperwork and computer monitors, requiring visual acuity

Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees

• Manages through measurement and metrics coupled with soft skills of mentoring and development 

• Strong time-management skills and keen eye to detail

• Ability to deal with all situations in a calm and positive manner

• Ability to learn new processes quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal skills
