Summary: Schedules appointments, registers patients, verifies insurance, and provides customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Gather patient information (demographics, insurance, etc.)
• Verify insurance coverage and refer to financial assistance if needed.
• Process documents and obtain signatures.
• Schedule appointments based on doctor's orders, patient needs, and protocols.
• Provide instructions to patients for tests and procedures.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and assist patients.
• Collect payments and handle cash.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience in clerical, customer service, or healthcare.
• Ability to type 40 WPM.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
