Adelphi is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks such as; preparing inmate patients for examinations by recording vital signs, filing and organizing patient health records, among other related duties.

Requirements:
- Current and valid Medical Assistant Certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in all direct delivery of patient care.
- Perform and assist with examinations and procedures as directed by supervisor.
- Prepare and review health records prior to medical exams.
- Prepare inmate patients for examination by taking vital signs, height/weight measurements, pregnancy screening, and other data collection as needed.
- Assist with intake and screening of new jail bookings.
- Cleaning and stocking treatment areas.
- Report patient's relevant medical information to nursing and medical staff efficiently.
- Maintain treatment area and medical files accordingly.
- Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with other facility staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
