We are recruiting a Sales Center Manager for our client, a leader in material handling solutions. With decades of experience, our client has revolutionized conveyor systems, offering cutting-edge technologies that optimize production processes. Their versatile conveyor solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, automotive, and more.
The Sales Manager for the Waukesha Center drives sales performance, optimizes operational efficiency, and ensures positive customer experiences through strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach. Sales experience with an engineering or industrial machinery background is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and monitor sales goals.
- Manage budget for staffing, training, marketing, and technology.
- Track and analyze KPIs like conversion rates and revenue.
- Oversee facility assets and ensure financial compliance.
- Implement and maintain CRM systems for tracking leads.
- Meet with top customers every 90 days and regularly interact with them.
- Develop new prospects and retain core customers.
- Maintain product knowledge to solve customer needs.
- Communicate unresolved complaints to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Monitor customer projects and provide updates.
- Travel (30-35%) to visit customers and attend trade shows.
- Compile customer lists and demonstrate product features.
- Quote credit terms and prepare sales contracts.
- Keep customer data and sales records up-to-date.
- Coordinate customer training and maintain relationships.
- Adhere to travel and expense policies.
- Supervise and develop the sales team.
Work Schedule: Work in the sales center from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Thursday, and from home on Fridays.

- Run the sales center as if it were your own business.
- Meet regional sales manager goals and align with the evolving sales department.
- Reward achievements annually based on sales performance, center management, and team collaboration.
- Be self-driven and motivated to meet and exceed targets.

- Strong sales and technical skills, particularly in engineering.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and goal-setting abilities.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in CRM and ERP software, MS Office, and email systems.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and manage projects effectively.
- Commitment to customer service, quality management, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Sales experience in different industries, especially with an engineering background.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations and reasoning ability.
- Valid driver's license required.
