RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
2. Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
3. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
4. Monthly entry and reconciliation of bank accounts.
5. Assist in creating budgets & budget-to-actual analysis.
6. Reconcile accounts with discrepancies & apply customer payments.
7. Research and solve payment discrepancies.
8. Compiling the business & employee expenses including the travel, customer support & other expenses.
9. Investigate cost variances and submit reports to senior management.
10. Develop and/or improve accounting policies to help streamline efficiencies.
11. AdHoc items as required and/or needed.
12. Inventory management in QuickBooks is an added qualification.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor?s degree in accounting or business administration, or related field.
? Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
? Full Charge Bookkeeper with at least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
? QuickBooks Desktop Certified.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, and Intuit QuickBooks.
? Accuracy, attention to detail, analytical and data entry
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team interacting with multiple departments.
