The Echocardiographer performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment in conjunction with the cardiologist. Administers contrast media to patients. Responsible for coverage of ultrasound department sharing responsibilities with other ultrasonographers. Assures emotional mental and physical well-being of the patient. Able to deal with emergency situations in a calm and professional manner. The job will entail access to confidential information, such as patient health information (PHI). Must demonstrate ethical behavior and respect for security and privacy.
Requirements:

Echocardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or ARDMS
BLS/CPR certification required
