Adams Beverages Nc Llc is Hiring an IT Manager Near Birmingham, AL

The IT Manager maintains and implements the company’s computer, communication, and management information systems to include all software and hardware. This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

Primary Responsibilities

Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations to determine scope and priorities of projects and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions

  • Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases
  • Manages the development, implementation, installation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization
  • Develops, implements and monitors MIS policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security and legal/regulatory compliance
  • Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products 
  • Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage and maintenance of software programs and hardware
  • Manages computer operations scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions
  • Develops, maintains and tests disaster recovery plans
  • Responsible for timely and accurate onboarding and offboarding of personnel access in appropriate programs
  • Troubleshoots hardware and software problems
  • Directly repairs or coordinates repair of hardware
  • Special Projects as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Must have experience working with Apple products – setup, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, internet software and database software, network infrastructure, MS Windows server and workstation operations systems, printers and other peripherals including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networking and access points, portable printers, audio and video equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical, technical support and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities, projects and deadlines simultaneously

While performing the duties of this job in the office environment, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing duties of this job in the field environment, the employee will be exposed on a regular basis to moving mechanical parts, motor vehicles and traffic. In addition, exposure while in customer locations cannot be projected. These conditions may vary, and the employee will receive adequate training to recognize and avoid hazards that cannot be described as expected. Noise levels will range from quiet to loud.
