General Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Director and Creative Director in all aspects of design including: sketching, flatting, overseas tech pack creation, and fittings
• Working with local and overseas factories and vendors to produce seasonal line-Prepare Presentation boards, linesheets, techpacks for both woven and knitwear styles
• Attends all fittings and works with senior product development manager for style creation in RLM
• Assists in issuing cut tickets, track protos, and see SMS
• Works cross functionally with production, sales, and fabric development
• Shops stores regularly to be aware of emerging trends and competitive assortment
• Works with Creative Director and Art Director on photoshoots-
• Hires and manages interns

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to do figural and flat sketching by hand-ability to research various design concepts
• Works well with others, and independently to meet short deadlines and project needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of draping, sewing techniques, fabrications, digital graphics and embroidery.. etc
