Event Coordinator at Adagio House

Building Community Connections, One Event at a Time

Overview:

As the Event Coordinator at Adagio House, you play a crucial role in fostering community engagement through our event space, Blackberry Lane Events. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will leverage your organizational skills, creativity, and knack for relationship-building to support our mission of reimagining care for caregivers and their disabled loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Execution: Develop and manage a full calendar of events that align with our mission, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly.
  • Venue Management: Help build Blackberry Lane Events to full capacity by refining contracts, enhancing marketing materials, and managing the venue’s digital presence including an Instagram account and website integration.
  • Community Engagement: Forge strong relationships with local businesses to promote weekday rentals and coordinate with local service providers like caterers and photographers to enhance event experiences.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Adagio House’s webmaster and social media strategist to boost online marketing efforts and automate processes. Integrate marketing strategies with the Community Outreach Coordinator for Adagio House newsletters and tabling events.
  • Material Production: Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials such as rack cards, ensuring they are regularly replenished at key community spots like the Chamber of Commerce and local visitors' centers.
  • Client Interaction: Provide prompt, welcoming communication with potential guests through various channels, and manage all aspects of the booking and event planning process.
  • On-Site Responsibilities: Conduct tours of the event space, manage event setups and takedowns, and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and adhere to local regulations.

A Note on Pay:

Adagio House will reimburse at $15/hr. plus 10% commission on all events booked by the Event Coordinator.
