Ad Hoc Team is Hiring a Remote Information Architect, Cascades Team, FDIC IS Program (remote)

The Financial & Regulatory Team (Cascades) is looking for a Researcher III to join the FDIC IS Team. This is a remote position.

Business Unit Overview: 

Cascades

The Financial & Regulatory business unit supports federal agencies like the FDIC, GSA, IRS, Treasury, and the CFPB. Our work helps them create customer experience strategies that enhance taxpayer and beneficiary satisfaction, which then helps improve the public's confidence and compliance in financial and regulatory markets. Our team brings insight into helping our customers solve problems, achieve their missions, and mitigate risks along their modernization journey.

Primary Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will serve as an emerging individual contributor within a team, expanding your leadership, guidance and mentoring skills. With the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the goal of meeting scope, schedule, and delivery requirements. While the title is Researcher III, you will primarily function as an Information Architect. You will interact with stakeholders and utilize influential skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while driving improvements in product management processes.

Primary expectations include: 

  • Establishing a placement and structure of pages and tools within the overall FDIC.gov
  •  IA/taxonomy Creating or reviewing user flows to ensure a complete user path is represented from entry points to task completion
  • Ensuring clear and accessible wayfinding by reviewing and suggesting content in navigation links, page titles, and calls to action
  • Ensuring research plans include tasks to support IA and wayfinding and providing recommendations on approach and methodology to support those tasks
  • Synthesizing multiple inputs to inform a cohesive approach and strategy to IA design
  • Identifying potential improvements and research opportunities on overall IA Planning and facilitating collaboration between cross-functional team members and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent training, education
  •  5 year or experience
  • Experience with Drupal is mandatory
  • ScrumMaster experience is preferred

Ad Hoc job descriptions feature the starting range we reasonably expect to pay to candidates who would join our team with little to no need for training on the responsibilities we've outlined above. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role is $100,000- $120,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
