The Financial & Regulatory Team is looking for a Content Design Strategist to join the GSA program. This is a fully remote position.

The Financial & Regulatory BU supports the FDIC, GSA, IRS, Treasury, CFPB, FRB, and SEC accounts. By applying our experience and capabilities across all aspects of human-centered design and product development, our work helps execute leading customer experience strategies that deliver enhanced customer satisfaction for taxpayers and beneficiaries. We help improve their confidence and compliance in our financial and regulatory markets. Our professionals bring insight into helping our clients solve problems, achieve goals, and mitigate risk along this journey. This work is done both by teams at Ad Hoc and at Cascades Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ad Hoc. 

Bilingual Web Support Services for the General Services Administration

Our team works with the Technology Transformation Services Solutions’ Public Experience Portfolio to provide bilingual (English and Spanish) direct web support services to USA.gov, USA.gov/espanol, and other delivery channels, such as the USAGov Contact Center. These services feed a multi-channel platform providing access to U.S. government information services over the internet, by telephone and chat, through media syndication, and social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. We are the prime contractor for this program. This position is for an English Speaking Candidate.

Primary Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor within a team; with the support and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting the goal of meeting scope, schedule and delivery requirements. You will begin to develop an awareness and understanding of how the content design/technical writing discipline delivers upon program requirements, as well as interact with stakeholders. Primary expectations for a Content Design Strategist/Technical Writer II include:

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in content strategy, social media strategies in the United States at a large scale preferably in the Federal Government.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using tools and techniques to manage websites and content such as content management system, SEO, Google Analytics, Google docs, Search Console or other tools.

Requirements

  • Write, edit, and publish content that is accurate, timely and high-quality with a deep understanding of digital design principles
  • Have a good understanding of how to use and interpret data from Google analytics, Google search console and other web analytics tools.
  • Understand how to gather and use SEO data and apply that to user journeys and solutions.
  • Be able to test content, interpret the results and implement those findings to make the content better for the user.
  • Build relationships and work with other agencies and stakeholders to refine content, provide guidance and brainstorm new solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the design and development teams to roll out new solutions and improve existing ones.
  • Work collaboratively with analytics and UX teams to develop a deeper understanding of user needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of content writing experience and plain language writing
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of experience with Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Content Management System (CMS)
  • Experience documenting system specifications and features
  • Experience managing the document review and approval process
  • Experience reviewing documentation for timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness
  • Effectively applies writing principles to project/ program requirements 
  • Experience with design software such as Tableau, Medallia, Miro, Adobe or other tools

In support of the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, and others like it across the country, Ad Hoc job descriptions feature the starting range we reasonably expect to pay to candidates who would join our team with little to no need for training on the responsibilities we've outlined above. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and responsibility. The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000.00 - $100,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
