ACV is Hiring a Sr Engineer, Analytics Near Buffalo, NY
The Sr. Analytics Engineer’s primary objective is to guide ACV in identifying and meeting the needs of its customers. This role is focused primarily on supporting our Capital Product team by delivering actionable insights in a highly independent manner using Data and Analytics.What you will do (Responsibilities): Develop and analyze large data sets Build reports and dashboards to give stakeholders visibility into relevant metricsContinually optimize our lending portfolio’s risk exposure and credit limit ceilingsProactively surface opportunities to grow business and provide data driven actionable solutions to execute on customer journey/lifecycle optimizationPresent recommendations on initiatives and influence stakeholders through data and thoughtful interpretation of findings Independent project ownership. Identify and organize key stakeholders, define scope, timeline, and execution of implementation plan without supervisionPresent analysis of a business area to stakeholders and support follow on questions, converting business questions into technical requirements Train and mentor fellow Analytics EngineersDevelop and deliver plans for Analytics Organization and/or Technical Growth Design and develop programs that will advance ACV towards a future state of business analysis and execution using company and external dataWhat you will need (Skills, Experience, Education):BA/BS in Statistics, Operations Research, or similar computationally intensive degree-or- college or university degree in Computer Science or relevant field.Masters/Ph.D. is ideal but can be offset by experience in the field and a deep toolboxDeep SME in financial services; Credit Risk, Payment Systems, Accounting, Audit, etc.5 years of relevant, professional work experience related to position Experience designing and executing on major initiatives from the ground upExperience delivering on projects using multiple toolkits and for multiple teamsAbility to navigate conflicting technical requirements and work collaboratively across projects towards a win-win solution Functional competency in PythonStrong Professional Experience with MySQL / BigQuery Experience with data visualization / dashboarding tools like Tableau Experience doing complex queries and transformations on large data setsExpertise in exploratory data analysis and the basics of data-driven reasoning are a mustCompensation: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
