Summary: Responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. Manage execution schedule by partnering with key stakeholders and directing workflow to ensure delivery based on business needs. Support and administer operational goals as well as monitor achievements of performance. Active leadership role focused on safety, quality, and productivity with a team-oriented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the receiving area, ensuring efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Analyze data and generate reports to provide insights into inventory trends and performance. Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory movements.
  • Continuous development and implementation of inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels. Conduct regular audits to validate inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
  • Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and support to optimize performance. Train and mentor staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall warehouse and logistics efficiency. Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to ensure seamless inventory and production processes.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, 3 years supervisory/leadership experience and 2 years warehouse/manufacturing experience required. College degree may be substituted for experience.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to lead teams and/or groups of individuals and work effectively with others. Must have demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities. Must have history of involvement in training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse environment. Lift up to 35 pounds, stand for periods of time, able to climb stairs and ladders. Capable of passing a vision screen and meet minimum requirements for forklift certification.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle fast-paced environments. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory management.
