Our client, CPM Builders (cpmbuild.com), is a Florida based general contractor who is seeking a Construction Superintendent. The role is responsible for the field operations and overseeing subcontractors at the project site. Works in direct cooperation with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve a successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in the construction industry, including as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
• Specific experience in commercial interiors build outs
• Experience in occupied, multiple tenant and/or open to the public construction environments a plus
• Proving ability to interpret construction drawings (all trades)
• Computer literate
• Must be bilingual: English and Spanish
• Able to work during extended hours and some weekends depending on client/job requirements

Preferred Certifications:

OSHA 30 Hr.

CPR / First Aid / AED Training.

Role:

• Oversee project from planning to completion to ensure a seamless closeout.
• Organize, lead, and monitor daily activities of entire project team (trade partners/subcontractors, vendors, laborers, etc.).
• Communicate effectively (written and oral) with team, trade partners/subcontractors, owners, architects, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
• Set up & facilitate job progress and safety meetings.
• Create, monitor and meet project schedules to prevent delays and/or cost overruns.
• Keep track of equipment and materials orders.
• Plan and carry-out inspections (all trades).
• Maintain a safe and clean job site.
• Procure job related materials and equipment.
