Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in our assisted living neighborhood.

WE WILL TRAIN YOU to become a Medication Technician!

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will provide personal care in accordance with the residents care plan, including assisting with basic hygiene and grooming needs (bathing, dressing, oral care, .

Provides medication administration and / or reminders in accordance with policies and procedures. Assists the Life Enrichment team members with activities and special events.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of the DHS 6-hour Direct Care training course (must be completed online within the first week of employment)
  • Completion of the DHS Medication Administration course (must be completed within the first 30 days of employment at the community)
  • CPR and first aid certified or willingness to become certified
