An international manufacturing company is looking for a Field Service Technician based out of the Charlotte, NC area. The ideal candidate will have a maintenance background and be able to provide technical support.

This position is direct hire and full-time with an excellent benefits package.Field Service Technician Responsibilities : Travel to customer locations to identity any technical problems and perform on-site repairOffer installation support for fabrication, automated and milling equipmentRead mechanical drawings and blueprints to resolve issues and complete repairsDocument and report any issuesProvide top customer service to clientsShow attention to detailField Service Technician Qualifications : Associate’s degree in engineering preferred, or a 2-year Electronic or Technical degree.

Travel would be Monday through Friday with weekends off. Travel expenses are covered.Familiarity with EDM, CNC, Lasers, Compressors, or Milling equipment is preferredA valid driver’s license is requiredFamiliarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems is a plusThis position is in a manufacturing work environment.

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
