Seeking a Field Service Tech in Charlotte, NC for a leading air compressor service provider. Candidate must have rotary screw compressor, refrigerated dryer, electrical troubleshooting and field service experience. PLC experience preferred. Must have clean driving record.
$23-$35 hourly BOE.
The Compressed Air and Vacuum Systems Service Technician serves as an ambassador for the company and is responsible for repairs and maintenance of compressed air and vacuum equipment residing on client property. Services are performed on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Perform equipment checks to diagnose and repair problems with compressed air and vacuum equipment
- Perform maintenance and testing on compressed air and vacuum systems
- Respond to emergency calls in addition to regular service calls as needed
- Program and troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Partner with company sales representatives and management to increase service and aftermarket business
- Travel to assist other company technicians, as needed
- Complete daily reports and maintenance checklists as required and send them to the customer and company admin team
