ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator requiring a TS/SSBI located in Colorado Springs, CO. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Systems Administrator administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. This administrator will maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. This Administrator trains staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.

Basic Qualifications:

For Junior Level: Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role plus a Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of Sever

For Mid-Level Roles: Must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role PLUS Master’s Degre. A minimum of MCTS or MCSA

For Senior Level Roles: Must have 12 years of progressive experience PLUS Master’s Degree. A Minimum of MCTS or MCSA

• It is Required to have a TS/SSBI to start, candidates with TS/SBI will also be considered but must be upgraded to SCI.

Preferred Technical Skills: Physical and Virtual environment and tools • Windows Client/Server architecture, deployment, configuration and management • High Availability, diagnostics, capacity management and performance tuning • Cisco UCS & Dell technologies • Monitoring and problem resolution • Configuration and management • Optimization and resource management • Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) Windows Server, SCCM and SharePoint • Physical/Virtual environments and tools • Security and Capacity management • Directory migration and Recovery • DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, ADFS, PKI, GPO’s • Identity management • Process automation and improvement • Multiple domains and Forests • Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) User/Computer accounts, Security groups • Managing/monitoring/configuring/troubleshooting • Replication and security policies • Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM and SharePoint • Physical/Virtual environments and tools • Security and Capacity management • Directory migration and Recovery • DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, ADFS, PKI, GPO’s • Identity management • Process automation and improvement • Multiple domains and Forests
