ActioNet is Hiring an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) | Req#3356 Near California, CA

Description

ActioNet anticipates an opening for an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) On-Site in Norco, CA. You must be eligible to obtain a SECRET clearance for this role. They will do so in accordance with agency defined security requirements using the NIST’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cyber security consistent with all statutory and policy requirements.

TARGET SALARY: 110,000-140,000 per annum

Roles and Responsibilities:

As the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), you'll be at the forefront of our defense against cyber threats, leveraging your expertise to protect our information systems, mitigate risks. Serve as a focal point for cyber security incident reporting and subsequent resolution for assigned information systems; Review contracts for information systems to ensure that cyber security is appropriately addressed. Ensure security-related documentation at each phase of the SDLC meets all identified security needs; Maintain the security assessment and authorization documentation (A&A) for information systems

Qualifications:

A) A high school degree, or a GED, and ten (10) years of relevant experience preparing and submitting documentation for obtaining

Navy/DoD security accreditation and authorization (A&A), OR

B) A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five (5) years relevant experience preparing and submitting documentation for obtaining Navy/DoD security accreditation and authorization (A&A), OR

C) A master's degree in a relevant field.

* must adhere to 8570.01M CWF Requirements

Desired Attributes:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
3 years’ experience in DoD program management or engineering related field
7 years of relevant experience validating RMF controls for A&A packages.
