Position Summary:

Responsible for the cleaning of the manufacturing area so as to effectively prevent the accumulation of debris that would constitute a fire hazard or possibly cause an injury of some sort.

Shift Schedule: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with little or no supervision and to do so safely.

2. Sweeping and cleaning of main aisles and primary workstations in the manufacturing area.

3. Emptying of scrap carts in the manufacturing area.

4. Clearing of debris from around and under major manufacturing equipment.

5. As time allows, cleaning under the tilt hoist and related equipment to prevent an accumulation of debris in these areas.

6. As time permits, cleaning of areas not normally done, such as the deck and steps to Supervisor’s and Maintenance office, the time locker hallway, the hog electric room, etc.
