Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is Hiring a Caregiver Near Leesburg, VA
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at Acti-Kare Sterling. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home care and support to our clients, promoting their well-being and helping them maintain their independence. Your role will involve assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment, and fostering positive relationships with our clients and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises to promote physical well-being.
- Administer medications as per prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation and activities.
- Keep detailed records of care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor.
- Help with transportation for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and errands.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic living environment for clients.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move clients as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Clean background check and drug screening.
- Experience in home care or a similar role is a plus.
Benefits:
- Paid time off (PTO) of up to 40 hours
- Monthly Attendance Bonus up to 100
