Duties include:

Assist clients with transfers and ambulation

Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)

Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises.

Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so Perform light housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary.

Offer both companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers Provide medication reminders

Complete light housekeeping duties and meal preparation duties Perform grocery shopping and provide client with transportation to errands and doctor's appointments

Qualifications experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment

Requirements:

• One year of professional caregiving experience
• Must be 21 or over

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

Valid CT driver’s license

Reliable transportation

Willing to undergo background checks

Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

Willingness to enforce to health and safety standards Supportive and compassionate Certification is a plus! Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program Flexible hours, full time and part time opportunities available.
