Description:

Will be reporting to the Sr Manager and Project Manager on projects

Perform field verification duties on the configuration and condition of existing electrical distribution, communication and life-safety systems.

Plans, develops, and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work including specifications, working drawings, reports, instructions, and other related documents within project scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements with little to no supervision.

Design of low voltage (<600V) power distribution, life safety, lighting, and communications systems.

Will help plan, schedule, coordinate and oversee the work of junior level staff/contractors on projects.

Will collaborate with clients, owners, contractors, code official and others through project completion to ensure

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Professional Engineering License with electrical specialty is required for this position

15 or more years of experience in low voltage (<1000V) power distribution and lighting design is required, medium voltage is a plus

Experience working on commercial, high-rise residential and mission critical projects is highly preferred

Knowledge of NEC, CBC, IECC, ASHRAE 90.1 codes required

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; AGI32 and SKM Power Tools experience is highly preferred

Accreditation/certification in sustainable design is a plus
