Overview:

We are currently looking to hire a Sr. Engineer with marine/ship experience. This will be a part time and remote contract position. You can expect roughly 10-20 hours per week.

Description:

This part time position requires to work 10 to 20 hours per week and performing the following tasks:

• Review technical letters, white paper, and design documents for electric plant in propulsion plant prior to issuing them NAVSEA/NNL.
• Supporting in review of statement of work, concept operation, schedule, process guidance, budgeting, schematic and other engineering drawings and documents (as NOFORN level); provide engineering with training and guidance to new engineers in developing procedures and manual for procurement, validation, and test; participate in discussion with customers, vendors, Navy, construction, and other organizations.

Qualifications:

• ABET BS Degree in Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years experience on Navy Propulsion Electric plant shipboard.
