Project Architect - Indianapolis, IN
We are actively hiring a Project Architect to join an award-winning team in Indianapolis. IN! This team focuses on Architecture, Interior, and Urban design for a variety of Civic, Mixed-use, and Corporate projects. This person will either work directly with a Project Manager or start as a Project Manager (depending on experience) to support an increase in demand the team is seeing in their markets. They will be responsible for producing designs, improving designs, and working with their clients and outside engineer teams to complete project deliverables on time. This role will involve coordination, production, and client interaction; and this person will be asked to lead design meetings and attend meetings with the clients. This is a great opportunity for someone to work with a multi-generational, international, award-winning team with a steady workload.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the client to assist in the realization of project and client needs/expectations
- Develop the project planning, design, and construction process/documents
- Coordinate and interact with team members, senior leadership, and external consultants (Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers) on projects of varying scope and scale
- Project project schedules, budgets, billing, problem-solving, and solutions
- Assist with project scope, conceptual design, and creative solutions
- Develop and serve client relationships
- Coordinate proposals and contracts
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture
- 5-10 years of architectural design experience (commercial experience)
- Licensed through NCARB for Indiana
- Ability to produce drawings, improve designs
- Ability to work and communicate with clients directly
- Revit and Sketchup Proficiency
