Actalent is Hiring a Process Engineering Manager Near De Soto, KS

Actalent is currently hiring a Process Engineering Manager with experience in high volume manufacturing. Experience related to chemical processing and/or the automotive industry is preferred. Qualified candidates must have experience managing 10 direct reports with a proven track record of developing engineering teams and operations. This is a great leadership opportunity to help establish a brand new, state of the art facility that will only continue to grow!

Description:

  • Directly supervises 10-30 employees in the Engineering Department.
  • Lead the team to introduce new model changes, new materials, spec evaluation, experimentation, and process improvement.
  • Establish systems and standards to promote sustainability and growth in technical, organizational, and people development areas.
  • Lead the team to develop advanced measurement and control systems to continuously improve OEE of manufacturing, quality and reliability.
  • Perform FMEA, FTA, DRBFM, and risk analysis for projects and process issues.
  • Responsible for overseeing and allocating budget, personnel resources to deliver program targets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. Master’s Degree or Ph.D. is preferred.

• Experience with battery/chemical manufacturing and high-speed robotic assembly process preferred.

• Experience managing 10 direct reports.

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge on Six Sigma and LEAN.
