Job Description:
Day to day will involve environmental monitoring, water sampling, water bioburden testing, in-process bioburden testing, and bacterial endotoxin testing (BET). The Technician will check to see what testing methodology they are assigned to that day before gathering the appropriate supplies and materials needed. They will then grab the correct labels, head to the manufacturing area and collect water samples aseptically to test.
This position supports testing a wide range of biological, chemical, or physical analyses on pharmaceutical products (biologics and drugs) through all stages of the manufacturing process from incoming raw materials to finished goods, and may include environmental monitoring programs. This position may be applicable to QC Analytical or Microbiological testing, Compliance, QCMIS, or Laboratory Operations.
Microbiology: This laboratory involved environmental monitoring, critical utility sampling, endotoxin testing, bioburden for raw materials and in process, process samples, microbial identification and final product sterility testing.
