ACTALENT IS HIRING MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS! WE HAVE PARTNERED WITH AN AMAZING CLIENT THAT IS GROWING AND ADDING TO THEIR TEAM! CALLING ALL NEW CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS! If you have been working in a clinical laboratory and are interested in making a shift, we have the opportunity for you. Take a look at some of the daily responsibilities and let's get started!
-Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
-Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to department SOP standards
-Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
-Demonstrate ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
-Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and / or controls
-Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care
-Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
-Utilize skills with various testing methods (PcR, Microbiology, Gene / DNA...)
