Specialty: Dermatology

Medical Assistant daily role: Will be working to support Drs. who perform MOHS procedures but they also have openings in general dermatology.

· Greeting and rooming patients

· Recording vitals

· Update patient history using Epic EMR system

· Assist providers in procedures

· Must be comfortable performing administrative duties including scheduling appointments, performing insurance verifications, &also prior authorizations.

Work environment:

· This role includes both clinical and administrative duties

· Fast paced Dermatology office, 15-20 patients per day

· Must be comfortable floating to satellite offices as needed (will be notified in advance)

Schedule & Locations:

· Full Time- 730AM-330PM- 40 Hours- No weekends!

· Monday late day- 930AM-630PM

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

· 6 Months of medical assisting experience

· Dermatology experience not required but preferred

· Experience with MOHS not required

· Must be comfortable working with all ages

· Must be comfortable commuting between offices as needed (rare occasion)

· Must have medical assistant diploma, CMA/RMA preferred

· Must have prior EMR/EHR experience, Epic preferred
