A full-service Architecture and Engineering firm in Chicago is looking to add Mechanical Engineers to their team!
Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will work in a highly collaborative environment on a wide range of projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing building mechanical systems. The Engineer will be responsible for performing the technical calculations and design, understanding the project requirements and the effort required to complete the work and applying critical thinking to quickly recognize issues and be part of the solution.
- Mechanical engineering design from conceptual level through construction administration and post-occupancy
- Develops, designs, specifies, and witnesses the testing of mechanical systems, equipment, components, and materials, applying principles and techniques of mechanical engineering
- Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings
- Stays current on codes and technologies appropriate to the Mechanical discipline
- Organizes and conducts site visits for the purpose of data collection and evaluation of mechanical systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 1 years of post-graduate experience
- Revit proficiency
