FUNCTION:

To formulate electronic packaging design concepts and create detail drawings utilizing 3D CAD solid modeling.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Provide CAD conceptual and detailed designs support based on project and product requirements.

2.Create, check, and/or approve detail drawings for production release.

3.Create, check, and/or approve assembly drawings with parts lists for production release.

4.Generate and implement Engineering Changes.

5.Support mechanical packaging design reviews.

SKILLS AND APTITUDES:

1.Proficient in SolidWorks (CSWP or better a plus)

2.5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design (BS in Mechanical Engineering a plus)

Other:

1.Knowledge of materials including aluminum, steel, plastics, and finishing techniques.

2.Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes including sheet metal fabrication.

3.Knowledge of electronic components.

4.Some travel required.

5.Must be eligible to obtain Secret Clarence
