PROJECT ENGINEER

Our Client - a small environmental and geotechnical engineering firm based in Roswell, Georgia - is seeking an entry-to mid-level Project Engineer.

Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification is strongly preferred Georgia Professional Engineer (P.E.) license a HUGE plus. Prefer candidates with experience in civil or geotechnical engineering. The position will be based in our Canton, Georgia office with opportunities to work remotely. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

Assistant PM Duties - Project and budget management

Client interfacing

Analyzing and interpreting analytical data

Technical report writing

Proposal preparation & business development

Design review

Overseeing project-based construction materials testing

Subcontractor oversite

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

Project and budget management

Client interfacing

Analyzing and interpreting analytical data

Technical report writing

Proposal preparation & business development

Design review

A sampling of various media, including soil, surface water, groundwater and soil vapor (air sampling experience a plus but not required)

Environmental Remediation

Subcontractor oversite

Performing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments

Environmental compliance monitoring

Skills and Qualifications:

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree a plus

At least 2 years of professional experience

Willingness to travel in order to complete assignments

Ability to work outdoors and in certain weather conditions, as needed to visit job sites

Big Plus: E.I.T. certificate

Preferred: Georgia P.E license
