Description: Field Service Technician

Fastems provides high-end manufacturing systems, software, and services to metalworking manufacturers to increase productivity and sustainability. They are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team. This position will be based in the Pacific Northwest and will travel 100% of the time to client sites.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute repairs and troubleshooting at the customer site
• Maintain a high level of customer service. Build internal/external customer and vendor relationships to ensure a teamwork driven environment
• Work closely with other departments: Technical Support, Installation, Software, Sales, Training departments
• Provides on-site and in-house customer service, occasionally remotely
• Travels to customer sites: locally and as required, out-of-state to support customers
• Performs pre-sales technical sales support to sales team and customer
• Responsible for maintaining current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through continuous development
• Troubleshoot PLCs

Field Service, PLC, Troubleshoot, VFD, Frequency Drive

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUSTS:

• 4 years of experience working in the field troubleshooting PLCs and equipment
• Experience with PLCs (Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, or Siemens)
• Experience with technical contexts and knowledge in fields of electronics, mechanical, pneumatics, and or hydraulics
• Ability to travel 100% of the time
