Description:
Seeking an EHS specialist to work onsite at the GM plant in Rochester. Will be responsible for pre-task plans, processing equipment, job site walkthroughs, and ensuring the GSAs/PTP's are being followed on a day to day. Great communication/public speaking skills as they will present to the team. Will be working with 2-3 subs at a time and overseeing 6-8 guys onsite. GM has a step by step plan for each job, there could be 12 different plans (PTPs) in motion at one time. Organization skills are key.

-the bulk of candidates they have seen do NOT have construction experience. Not having construction does not preclude that someone could work out but they need them to have this type of experience, preferably in the industrial setting.
- Chemical/industrial plant experience.
- This person would also be involved in underground fire upgrades, process equipment, reinstalling equipment, moving utilities around and being hands on with the crew when necessary.
