Vision General Contractors of Ga, LLC is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Daytona Beach, FL

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will work with the Director of Construction to manage projects throughout the US. Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Oversees the daily tasks of the construction team, both in the office and in the field.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Oversee the Project Coordinator, Assistant project Manager and job-site superintendent. Delegate project tasks as needed.
  • Make job site visits and meet with project superintendents.
  • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
  • Confer with the estimating department on bid proposals and assist as needed.
  • Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.
  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
  • Direct and supervise construction or related workers.
  • Manage project submittals.
  • Manage and implement job site safety to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Negotiate and write detailed scopes of work for subcontractor agreements.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 8 years of construction experience (Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
