Description:

the DOT is looking for 2 Civil Engineers to work Seasonally in Huron South Dakota

They will be overseeing and performing inspections and Quality Checks on Box Culverts, Bridge, and Chip Sealing projects

Must have a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and 5 years of sight Development or DOT experience

**Responsibilities:**

- Design and oversee chip sealing projects to ensure road durability and safety.

- Manage the planning, design, and construction of box culverts for efficient water management.

- Lead bridge replacement projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring structural integrity and safety standards are met.

- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

- Experience in chip sealing, box culverts, and bridge replacement projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.

$45-$50/hour -- $115/day Per-Diem
