Description:

Civil Designer familiar with the site and land development processes. The position includes, but is not limited to, project design responsibilities for subdivision and individual site grading, utility design, storm water management, erosion control, street design, and parking lot design. The successful candidate will be required to have strong communication skills, work well on project teams and have experience with the different design, permitting and project related responsibilities. Responsibilities: Preparation of engineering design reports, plans and specifications Inspect project sites to ensure they meet relevant codes and are in conformance with engineered plans and specifications Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations in support of projects Check and verify engineering calculation briefs in support of ongoing projects Ensure that project tasks are performed correctly with appropriate QA/QC Perform engineering cost estimates Assure that technical documents (drawings, reports, etc.) are in accordance with company production and design standards Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and regulatory agency personnel

Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil3D Experience with land development process Need a bachelors in Civil Engineering and would prefer the candidate to have or be willing to obtain a PE.
