Location: Albany, NY (HYBRID)Key QualificationsWe are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate should meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Proven experience collaborating with agencies/business areas to comprehend business requirements, translating them into technical and security infrastructure requirements, and documenting architecture designs encompassing data flows, system interfaces, authentication, etc.
- Background as a Windows Server Administrator with hands-on expertise in Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) business application installation, configuration, troubleshooting (with or without Vendor), and providing Level 3 Technical support. Proficient in managing solutions on Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 platforms, IIS, Tomcat, WebLogic, Certificate Services, and Authentication using Active Directory. Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML v2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Experience in Level 3 Analytical and Technical support of COTS/business application interfaces & system interconnects, including networks, stealth firewall software, F5, and Load Balancing. This involves diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues in converged/mixed environments, particularly on the Microsoft Windows Server platform.
- Proficiency in Level 3 Analytical and Technical support of COTS/business applications using tools like WireShark, Process Monitor, Netstat, Ping, Traceroute, TelNet, etc.
- Strong background in Analytical and Technical support of COTS/business applications using tools like Splunk for log analysis, system monitoring, and system performance tuning.
