Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Correspondent Direct Lending sales department for Acra Lending. This position is accountable for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving Acra’s sales goalsCreate a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievementResponsible for Correspondent Sales StaffEnsures Sales staff is trained to comply with all disclosure requirements on all loansAnalyze broker’s financial information to determine which financial products best meet their needsMaintains knowledge of the requirements for each product and Citadel’s lending guidelinesUnderstands process for taking loan applications with complete documentation, disclosures, and set up needed for loan processing and closingManage the sales teams to deliver profitable growthManage the use of budgets for vendorsRecruit and develop sales staffDesign and propose sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targetsManage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfactionDefine sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when requiredIdentify and recommend infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales functionTravel for conferences and trade shows that relate to the mortgage origination business, as well as travel to other Acra sites to manage sales groupsMay perform other duties as neededSupervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise a team of employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
