Acorn Stairlifts is Hiring an Inventory Administrator Near Lorain, OH

Position Title: Inventory Admin

GENERAL SUMMARY

Inventory admin will be responsible for all aspects of inventory control & stock replenishment of field-based staff, including but not limited to placing replenishment and supplemental stock orders, receiving of inventory at all LDC locations, inventory counts and dispatching at all LDC locations. Inventory Admin are responsible for reconciling all inventory counts and adjustments for month end reporting to management. They are responsible for daily shipping/receiving orders and ensuring all outstanding orders are being shipped and received to/from the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for group of field technicians inventory and inventory replenishments based on geographic location.

2. Facilitate each technician’s inventory count monthly, and supplemental counts as required. Reconcile inventory discrepancies as necessary for month end documentation.

3. Schedule Logistics jobs as required of field technicians on their respective schedules to receive shipments/inventory into the LDC locations.

4. Close Logistics jobs as completed throughout the day as per company protocol.

5. Create & ensure timely shipping of scheduled and supplemental replenishment orders as required for designated technicians.

6. Review field technicians’ schedules regularly to avoid stock shortages.

7. Liaise with field group to ensure all shipments are received timely and no replenishment orders remain outstanding.

8. Review any replenishment or supplemental shipments with field group to ensure any discrepancies are reconciled within the inventory management system (aplx.co)

9. Monitor Awaiting Inspection items in repair & advise on the use of Aged Stock equipment.

10. Maintain interdepartmental communication with Installations dept., QA dept., Field Support dept., and other departments as required.

11. Comply with corporate policies & procedures.

12. Maintain personal workspace & common areas in a neat and presentable manner.

13. Use the ADP system to submit daily punches & PTO requests

14. Perform other duties as needed.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Monthly inventories are scheduled, reconciled & completed in a timely manner.
  • Fulfilling of requested & supplemental orders are processed correctly.
  • Fulfilling of requested & supplemental orders are processed on time and all outstanding orders are reconciled timely.
  • Schedules are reviewed & proplenishment orders created as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
